AI strategy and readiness
Find the workflows where AI changes the economics, rank them by value and risk, and turn them into a funded roadmap.
AI strategy
Agentic AI that reaches production, cloud architecture that holds up, and leadership for the teams who now work alongside AI. Practical guidance from someone who has built these systems, run the field teams that sell them, and written the book on leading high-performance teams.
How I help
Most AI programs stall in the gap between an exciting demo and a dependable system people use. I work across that whole gap: strategy, architecture, engineering and the human side of adoption.
Find the workflows where AI changes the economics, rank them by value and risk, and turn them into a funded roadmap.
AI strategyDesign and build multi-agent systems, MCP tools and evaluation harnesses that produce grounded, structured output you can trust.
Agentic AIServerless, event-driven and container platforms on AWS and Azure, defined as code, secured by default and sized to the budget.
Cloud architectureHelp leaders and teams work alongside AI agents: adoption programs, hackathons, upskilling and the Ice Mold model.
AI adoptionWhy Serviam Rex
I helped establish Microsoft’s earliest field go-to-market for Azure OpenAI and GitHub Copilot, sitting with more than a hundred enterprises as they decided what generative AI meant for them. Today I lead solutions architecture for insurance and financial services customers, putting agentic AI into production against underwriting, claims and benefits workflows.
On my own time I build: an agentic AI platform for baseball analytics, offline-first serverless apps and production sites like this one, all developed with AI coding agents.
You get advice from someone who has run the executive briefing, written the architecture and shipped the code, and who knows that the hardest part is usually the people.
More about me“Leadership is rarely about the loudest voice or the flashiest output. It’s about who you become when things get hard, and how you help others become the best version of themselves.”
Selected work
Each one shows a capability I bring to client work.
Agentic AI platform
An agentic platform that turns raw play-by-play and video into scouting reports and coaching insight, with its analytics exposed through the Model Context Protocol.
Read the case studyEnterprise AI go-to-market
More than 100 enterprise engagements for Azure OpenAI and GitHub Copilot that shaped both customer adoption and the product itself.
Read the case studyServerless on AWS
A pitch-tracking app that works with no signal and syncs safely later, plus a static web app with no-keys CI/CD, both on AWS.
Read the case studyThe book
A practical framework for building high-performing, culture-first teams: the skills and behaviors of individuals, the virtues and collective intelligence of teams, the leadership that holds it together, and the influence and outputs a great team exports.
The second edition, in progress, extends the model to organizations where AI agents are working members of the team.

How we’ll work
A focused conversation about your goals, constraints and the workflows that matter most.
A short assessment that names the highest-value opportunities, the risks and a clear plan.
Hands-on delivery alongside your team: architecture, working software and evaluation.
Your people own it. Documentation, training and leadership practices that make it stick.
Start with a 30-minute conversation. Bring the workflow, the stalled pilot or the team question that keeps coming up. You’ll leave with a clear next step, whether or not we work together.
